newlyweds

I was actually hired to be a" fun photographer". Not the professional that is in charge of getting all of the important shots. Mike and Angela wanted someone to be in charge of capturing all of their friends and family enjoying the special day with them. I only attended the reception and Angela's only real request was to get a good picture of the cake and the cutting of it. I have to admit that I was happy to have this shot out of the way. I know that there are shadows but the picture is the real deal with no editing done. The reception was held in the lower level of the Mavris, (downtown Indianapolis) so it was DARK. I struggled with lighting the whole night long. I took over 325 pictures and photographed every single person that attended. My photos might not be professional quality but I made sure that I got at least one good shot of everyone. No eyes closed or mouths open shots allowed. Only smiles and happy memories to remind the newlyweds of how precious the day was. I would certainly do it again if given the opportunity. Being the "fun photographer" kind of works for me.
